National Infertility Awareness Week (NIAW) 2026

9th Annual The Fertility Diaries Contest

ABOUT THE COMPETITION
Did you know that 1 in 6 couples worldwide are diagnosed with infertility*? This number represents more than a population. It represents a deeper impact that affects an individual, couples, and relationships. At The Fertility Center, we recognize that the journey through infertility can be very overwhelming. That’s why we want to take this opportunity to invite you to share your story with others who know what you’re going through and especially, those who don’t. We hope you’ll join us in our ninth round of The Fertility Diaries contest! We would love to hear your story and work together to raise awareness on behalf of the infertility community.

PARTICIPATION
This contest is open to anyone who has ever experienced fertility issues first hand. You do not have to be a past/current patient of The Fertility Center or Ovation Fertility to enter or win. Entries will be accepted from Wednesday, March 25, 2026 – Sunday, April 12, 2026.

• Employees of The Fertility Center and each of their respective affiliated companies, subsidiaries, advertising or promotional agencies, and other agents, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with such employees, are not eligible.

PRIZES
Each person who enters The Fertility Diaries contest will receive a $100.00 credit on their account, to be used toward future services at The Fertility Center. Five entries will be selected for voting. The three entries with the highest number of votes will win first, second, and third place prizes, to be used at The Fertility Center and Ovation Fertility. Winners will be notified and announced on our social media pages following National Infertility Awareness Week, on Monday, April 27, 2026. 

Three total winners will be chosen to receive a grant toward future services at Michigan Reproductive and IVF Center dba The Fertility Center and Ovation Fertility, our laboratory partner:

• First place: $14,000
  * $7,000 at The Fertility Center
  * $7,000 at Ovation Fertility

• Second place: $10,000
  * $5,000 at The Fertility Center
  * $5,000 at Ovation Fertility

• Third place: $6,000
  * $3,000 at The Fertility Center
  * $3,000 at Ovation Fertility

• Placement will be determined by number of votes. Prize money can only be used for services for yourself and is not transferable to another person.

Since the goal of National Infertility Awareness Week is to raise awareness for the infertility community, once the top five entries have been selected, their stories and photos will be shared on our website, Facebook and Instagram pages during NIAW 2026.
Prize money is to be used for future services provided by The Fertility Center and Ovation Fertility. This does not include medications as those are paid to outside entities. 

VOTING
Voting will open on Sunday, April 19, 2026 and remain open until Sunday, April 26, 2026. Voting will take place via The Fertility Center’s website. One vote per email address will be counted. Winners will be announced on Monday, April 27, 2026.
